The Montreal Gazette's announcement of Roger Guetta's exhibition "The Autumn of Love" by arts reporter John Pohl:
Roger Guetta specializes in "iPhoneography" - images captured and edited on his iPhone, printed on fragile tea-bag-like paper and then embedded in large sheets of heavy rag paper made by Papeterie St-Armand.
Guetta has given workshops in Apple stores and at New York University, said Bettina Forget, director of the Visual Voice gallery. Guetta's art combines cutting-edge technology and traditional media that evoke warmth and visceral engagement, she said.
The vernissage for Roger Guetta's exhibition, The Autumn of Love, is held Saturday from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Visual Voice, 372 Ste. Catherine St. W., Suite 421. For more information, visit visualvoicegallery.com
